How to Make a 3D Heart Flower Card
What you need:
- Printable template (optional)
- Multicolored construction paper (we printed the model on Astrobright Starburst White, which has a nice feel)
- scissors
- glue
- pencil
step-by-step instructions
Print the model (optional). We printed us on white paper because half of the models will serve as cards.
Cut out the part from the template.
Fold the card in half and set aside.
Trace the shape of a heart on the red, pink or purple floral paper that works best for this project.
We need some heart shapes. You can only make 4, but it’s more fun.
Also, outline the stem (1x) and leaves (2x) on green paper (you can use two shades of green).
Take the card base. Apply glue to the stem and stick it to the card.
Do the same for one of the leaves and the heart.
Fold the other ear in half.
Apply glue to the heart of the card.
Glue the two folded hearts to the hearts on the card.
Repeat until only one heart remains.
Coat the whole heart again with glue, unfold the last heart and glue it to the two halves.
Press down to set the glue.
Perfect! 3D Heart Flower Card is ready.
Pretty, right?
