Destiny 2 Vanguard Medals debut in Destiny 2 thanks to Guardian Game 2022. These Vanguard medals are very similar to medals earned in Crucible and Gambit, and reward you with additional points for completing amazing achievements with your weapons and skills. However, it is only available in the Guardian Games Strike playlist. Here is a list of all Destiny 2 Vanguard Medals and how to get them if you wish.

Below are 47 Destiny 2 Vanguard Medals and how to obtain them. Currently only available in Guardian Games: Recreational, Training, and Competitive playlists. All points are worthwhile. So, if you want to maximize your Platinum score in your competitive playlist, earning a variety of these medals is very useful, especially for Destiny 2’s shoot-to-score quests.

kinetic spray – Quickly defeat 3 enemies with a kinetic or stasis weapon.
Kinetic Rampage – Defeat 6 enemies quickly with a Kinetic or Stasis weapon.
Kinetic Frenzy – Defeat 9 enemies quickly with a Kinetic or Stasis weapon.
energy rush – Defeat 3 enemies quickly with energy weapons.
energy frenzy – Defeat 6 enemies quickly with energy weapons.
energy rush – Defeat 9 enemies quickly with energy weapons.
Power Thrash – Defeat 3 enemies quickly with powerful weapons.
Power Rampage – Defeat 6 enemies quickly with powerful weapons.
power trip – Defeat 9 enemies quickly with powerful weapons.
accurate shoveling – Defeat 3 enemies quickly with precision damage.

in the bag – Kill 20 enemies with an Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Hand Cannon, Fusion Rifle or Machine Gun without dying
stick and move – Kill 30 enemies with an Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Hand Cannon, Fusion Rifle or Machine Gun without dying
Cannon – Kill 10 enemies with grenade launcher (special or heavy) or teeter-totter launcher without dying
Crater Maker – Kill 20 enemies with the grenade launcher (special or medium) or teeter-torter launcher without dying
master blaster – Kill 30 enemies with the grenade launcher (special or heavy) or teeter-totter launcher without dying
head to head – Defeat 10 enemies with a sidearm, submachine gun, shotgun, glaive or sword without dying.
hand in hand – Defeat 20 enemies with a secondary weapon, SMG, shotgun, glaive or sword without dying.
eye level – Defeat 30 enemies with a sidearm, submachine gun, shotgun, glaive or sword without dying.
indestructible – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities without dying
perfect firefighting team – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities on your fireteam without anyone dying.
fireteam brawl – Defeat 10 fighters with Fireteam.
Guardian Angel – Quickly revive two Guardians.
Demolition Specialist – Quickly defeat 3 enemies with grenades.
fierce – Quickly defeat 3 enemies with melee final blows (can be melee skills or normal melee attacks)
let there be light – Defeat 3 enemies quickly with super powers.
in a dangerous state – Quickly kill three enemies frozen by Stasis.
divide by size – Quickly kill 3 enemies with stasis splinter damage
master of weapons – Quickly defeat fighters with weapons to quickly earn Kinetic Spree, Energy Spree and Power Spree medals.
virtuoso – Quickly defeat fighters with skills to quickly earn Demolition Expert, Berserker, and Let There Be Light medals.
universal – If you quickly defeat fighters with weapons and skills, you can quickly acquire the ‘Armsman’ and ‘Master’ medals.
giant slayer – Defeat the champion
finish – Defeat powerful warriors (enemy with non-red health bars) with the finisher.
insult to injury – Defeat powerful fighters with the finisher after performing the emote.
crossed the bronze threshold – Achieve a tie (50,000 points) in Guardian Games playlist activities
crossed the silver threshold – Achieve Silver Points (100,000 points) in Guardian Games playlist activities
crossed the golden threshold – Achieve gold points (150,000 points) in Guardian Games playlist activities
crossed the platinum threshold – Achieve Platinum Points (175,000 points) in Guardian Games playlist activities
Achieve Bronze Rank – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities with Bronze (50,000 – 99,999)
You have reached the silver level. – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities with silver points (100,000 – 149,999)
Reach gold level – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities with Gold Points (150,000 – 174,999)
Reach Platinum Level – Complete Guardian Games playlist activities with Platinum Points (175,000+)

Each of these Vanguard medals has an associated achievement, which can be found in the Guardian Games section of the Resurrected Season menu. They don’t give you achievement points, but you never know when your hitting points will come back, so get them as much as you can!

When participating in the Guardian Games Strike playlist, you must complete Platinum and Contender Cards to earn medals for your class. You will need a Destiny 2 Laurel to purchase this card and this card is readily available in this playlist, but you can also check out the Destiny 2 Daily Focus for Guardian Game 2022.

Let There Be Light – Rapidly defeat three enemies with your Super ability
On Thin Ice – Rapidly defeat three enemies frozen by Stasis
Size Does Shatter – Rapidly defeat three enemies with Stasis shatter damage
Master at Arms – Rapidly defeat combatants with weapons to quickly earn the Kinetic Spree, Energy Spree, and Power Spree medals
Virtuoso – Rapidly defeat combatants with abilities to quickly earn the Demolition Expert, Berserker, and Let There Be Light medals
Jack of All Trades – Rapidly defeat combatants with weapons and abilities to quickly earn the Master at Arms and Virtuoso medals.
Giant Slayer – Defeat a Champion
Finishing Touches – Defeat a powerful combatant (an enemy with a health bar that is not red) with a finisher
Insult to Injury – Perform an emote and then defeat a powerful combatant with a finisher
Crossed the Bronze Threshold – Pass the Bronze score threshold (50,000 points) in a Guardian Games playlist activity
Crossed the Silver Threshold – Pass the Silver score threshold (100,000 points) in a Guardian Games playlist activity
Crossed the Gold Threshold – Pass the Gold score threshold (150,000 points) in a Guardian Games playlist activity
Crossed the Platinum Threshold – Pass the Platinum score threshold (175,000 points) in a Guardian Games playlist activity
Bronze Tier Achieved – Finish a Guardian Games playlist activity with a Bronze score (50,000 – 99,999)
Silver Tier Achieved – Finish a Guardian Games playlist activity with a Silver score (100,000 – 149,999)

Each of these Vanguard Medals has a Triumph tied to it that can found under the Guardian Games section of the Season of the Risen Triumphs menu. They don’t award any Triumph score, but we don’t know if and when Strike scoring will return, so you get them while you can!
