Amazon Introduces New Features to Alexa Together Service
About the support circle
Alexa Together is designed to help caregivers communicate with and review caregivers, and the process is now a little easier.
Amazon has unveiled two new features for Alexa Together subscribers designed to ease the burden on caregivers.
Amazon
The first are the so-called support circles. This convenient feature expands your care network and allows up to 10 people to share work. Co-caregivers are now referred to as “members of the circle,” and each person receives daily health and status notifications on their smartphone or tablet.
Circle members can be spouses, cousins, friends or neighbors. Primary caregivers or caregivers can access the Alexa app to remove people from their circles at any time. Remote Assistance is available only to the primary caregiver, allowing remote access to virtually any aspect of the service.
Alexa Together now allows primary caregivers to set up remote assistance routines for loved ones. In other words, caregivers can seamlessly organize and design all-day activities, such as turning on lights or presenting shopping lists.
These features are already available to current Alexa Together subscribers, and Amazon is currently running a 6-month free trial, which is spreading the word. After that, it costs $20 per month.
