Animal Crossing Villagers Isabelle Would Probably Hate

Understandably, Marlo fans aren’t going to be too happy about this, but there’s a good chance that Isabelle would hate him. Marlo has the cranky personality type, which immediately puts him at odds with Isabelle. To make matters worse, it is rumored that Marlo runs an underground community, likely something related to a mafia-type crime ring. Though Marlo’s true involvement with the mob isn’t the biggest mystery in the Animal Crossing world, Isabelle would see that as a threat to her community and definitely be wary of him.
Isabelle might feel slightly threatened by Marlo’s presence on the island, though it would never be shown to anyone. She would keep a close eye on him and make sure that he isn’t up to no good and probably wouldn’t mind telling him to change his signature “gabeesh” catchphrase if the player requested it. With education as his hobby, Marlo might be able to win Isabelle over but it would probably take a lot of time for her to gain that trust in him.
Monique Is Too Dramatic For Isabelle In Animal Crossing

Isabelle usually gets along quite well with the snooty personality types in Animal Crossing. The overall feeling is that, though many of them are concerned with their make-up, clothes, and gossip, they would like Isabelle mainly because of her take-control personality and Isabelle would admire them for their aspirations in life. With many of the snooty personality types having goals of being a politician, lawyer, or judge, they may enjoy Isabelle’s experience pushing rules and getting down to business. Monique, on the other hand, would not enjoy Isabelle’s personality, nor would Isabelle like Monique’s. Monique cares about her looks so much that Isabelle would likely find this frustrating since it interferes with getting things done. Monique would probably try to boss Isabelle around and would not shy away from letting her know if she was doing something wrong.
Isabelle doesn’t come across as a materialistic character at all, but Monique definitely does. With her high standards, she often acts as though the rest of the community is below her. Monique has been known to cause drama with other Animal Crossing villagers, especially the lazy ones, and Isabelle would never stand for that.
ACNH Villagers – Cyd Is Way Too Punk Rock for Isabelle’s Taste

Cyd is definitely the wild one in the Animal Crossing series. He has the “Rockin” aesthetic and likes to play his music as loud as possible, which would rub Isabelle the wrong way. Cyd gives off a punk vibe and would definitely be uninterested in listening to Isabelle’s rules. Isabelle would dislike everything that Cyd stands for, which is being loud and going against the grain. Isabelle knows how to have fun, though she is usually always working, but also knows when it’s time to get to work.
Cyd is interested in showing off his music skills and also, thanks to the room design ability in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Paradise DLC, players learned that Cyd is interested in showing off his gaming skills. Isabelle doesn’t seem like the type to enjoy video games at all so this would also be something that would make her hate him. Isabelle might not necessarily hate Cyd, but she would probably find his personality and irresponsibility frustrating enough to dislike him and would likely try to not associate with him unless she absolutely had to.

This one is quite simple: Barold is just a creepy villager. Everything about the bear just seems unappealing and many fans agree. With his offputting personality, the fact that he has security cameras and a sleeping bag in his home, and his overall looks, Barold is easily the creepiest villager that has ever existed. The disdain for this character even has fans hoping for his removal as a villager in the next Animal Crossing game. That being said, Isabelle would definitely hate him. He would make Isabelle feel uncomfortable with just the interior of his home, but the rest of his appearance and personality would add to her discomfort. There are many other lazy characters that Isabelle would get along with, but Barold is not one of them.
Isabelle would try to give him the benefit of the doubt, but if he is as creepy as he appears, she would want to protect the rest of the villagers from whatever nefarious plan he has in store with his security camera living room. Barold will most likely go down in history as the most hated Animal Crossing villager, and Isabelle would definitely agree.
