Apple May Be Preparing Its Biggest Product Launch Yet

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman is looking forward to many new hardware announcements.

Apple’s next big event is just a month or two away. BloombergApple expert Mark Gurman at Apple expects it to be probably the biggest year for new hardware.

As Gurman explained, Apple tends to release small updates and products in the spring, release new software in the summer, and release most of its hardware in the fall. A strategy aimed at raising expectations for new products and increasing the likelihood of a lucrative holiday season. But Gurman also believes a series of filings with the Eurasian Economic Commission could indicate that Apple is planning more of its lineup for its spring event.

The 12 submissions found by Consomac include three unreleased iPhone models and nine unreleased iPad models. Specifications and performance are still a mystery, as the current list only includes identification numbers such as “A2595” and “A2766”.

Apple’s intentions are still unclear, but Gurman is confident that it will announce a sizable product lineup in 2022 and later. But for now, we’re not entirely sure if Apple plans to unveil these devices earlier than usual in the spring, or if they’ll submit their planned fall lineup earlier.

You’ll have to wait for Apple’s spring event, expected in March or April, to know if the hardware announcement will come sooner than usual. However, Gurman was told that he expects to see “the biggest new hardware product in history” this fall. Anyway, we’ll see lots of new iPhone and iPad hardware sometime in 2022.
