Black Adam producer reveals why the DC movie’s release date was delayed

The DC film Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson as the anti-hero, was originally scheduled for release this July. However, it was announced that it would be delayed in March, and producer Hiram Garcia attributes this to the delay at the VFX house.

“I think we’re in a world right now where there was an understandable big stop when a pandemic hit and a lot of production stopped,” Garcia said. lab. “The pipeline for VFX is so congested now that the industry is really rocking. Obviously all these superhero movies need too much VFX and we are currently in a situation where most VFX houses are full of work.”

He added: “They have worked hard and we are very grateful for all these VFX houses. It feels like everything is starting to tune in and I think it will start to feel less of a change overall.”
