Blu’s latest smartphone line focused on gaming, the G91 Max, is now available exclusively on Amazon.
Blu has announced the launch of the latest G-series gaming smartphone, the G91 Max, which appears to be an evolution of its predecessor, the G91 PRO. The G91 Max has a slightly larger Full HD+ display, uses a slightly newer MediaTek Helio GPU, has more RAM, and has a better camera lineup than its predecessor.

According to Blu’s press release, the G91 Max’s use of the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, along with 8GB of RAM, is ideal for maintaining smooth frame rates for gaming. According to Blu, all of this provides an “error-free response” when using the device.
It also offers “pro photography” with a 108MP quad camera that includes a 2MP depth sensor, 5MP wide angle, 2MP macro, and 4K video recording at 30fps. Blu doesn’t go into details, but the selectivity of “Advanced AI Camera Features” is also part of the package.
And it has a 5,000mAh battery, which Blu says offers 18W fast charging and 10W wireless charging. However, it doesn’t provide solid numbers on how long the G91 Max will last on a full charge, or what types of tasks can drain power faster. The company states that it “can last all day and all night”, but with more intensive use (e.g. listening to music, gaming, etc.) the charge is likely to drain faster.

You can now get the Blu G91 Max for $149.99 on Amazon in Sky Blue or Spectrum Gray, but Blu says this is a special price for early adopters.
At the end of the promotional period, the G91 Max will return to its regular MSRP of $249.99.
