Easy Pasta Crafts Ideas

Have past due date pasta – we have some easy pasta ideas to share with you! We’ll show you how to make a fun pasta sun, pasta snake, pasta sunflower and pasta lion.
A great rainy day activity for kids.

While we really don’t like wasting food – none of that, even with the best efforts there is sometimes an open package of pasta far behind in the cupboard that everyone seems to forget. Rather than throwing away the pasta, why not use it creatively?
We found beautiful ways to use these spirals and make a lion, sun, sunflower and snake.
These are great summer crafts, especially as a project in summer camp.

So if you have old macaroni spirals somewhere in the kitchen.

Go grab a handful and let’s start crafting.

Easy pasta craft ideas
What do you need:
spiral macaroni
brush
craft paints (blue, yellow, caramel, orange)
colored pencils (blue, yellow, brown, green)
black lining
glue
wide eyes
pieces of cardboard

Step by step instructions
Lion Craft Pasta
To make the lion, we used 16 spirals.
We painted 8 of them in orange and the rest in caramel color.

Using the black pencil, draw a lion’s face on the cardboard, color it with colored pencils and attach the googly eyes to it.

Put glue on each of the spirals and glue them around the lion’s head.

Draw the body of a lion and color it with colored pencils.

The lion is done.

pasta snake craft
To make the snake, we first painted 6 spirals of macaroni in blue acrylic color.

Draw the head of a snake, color it with a blue colored pencil and put on the googly eyes.

Put some glue on the spirals and arrange them as you wish.
This would be the snake’s tail.

The snake is finished.

Sunflower Pasta Craft
For the sunflower, we painted 16 spirals in yellow acrylic color.

Draw a sunflower shape, color it with colored pencils as shown in the picture and attach the googly eyes to it.

Put glue on the spirals and arrange them around the head of the sunflower.

Sun Pasta Crafts
For the sun, we used 8 spirals painted in yellow acrylic color.

Draw a circle, color it with a yellow colored pencil and add the googly eyes.

Put glue on each of the spirals and place them around the head of the circle.

Finished!

Do as much as you want.
