Each level appears identical to the previous one, so you can actually think of the player as going in a circle when you are in a different part of the dungeon. Therefore, it is essential for adventurers to follow the same path confidently even if they are walking on the same path.
Similar to other catacombs. Elden Ring, Esgar’s boss room is right in front of the Plaza of Mercy in the dungeon. The goal is to find the lever that opens the door to the boss room. From Grace, follow the first hallway to the wet area with the sarcophagus. Go up the stairs to the southeast and turn right into the next hallway. Watch out for the Imp Fire statue and the Flaming Clayman, then turn right again up the small stairs. Pass the Fell Twin and drop into the same damp sarcophagus mentioned above.
Next, look southeast and go up the stairs. Turn right and enter the hallway as before. But this time go to the room where the Imp Fire Pillar is. Elden Ring And go to the next floor. This path leads to a small chapel-like area that connects to a linear passageway that leads directly to a boss lever. Watch out for goblins hanging from the ceiling along the way. After activating the switch, head down the hallway to the northwest, submerged in the water below. This hall leads the player to the entrance to the blood priest Esgar’s room.

Therefore, it is essential for adventurers to confidently press onward when following directions, even when the path appears to be the same.
Similar to other Catacombs in Elden Ring, Esgar’s boss chamber will be directly ahead of the Dungeon’s Site of Grace. The goal is to find the lever to unlock the doorway leading to the boss room. Starting from the Grace, head down the first corridor into a wet area with a sarcophagus. Continue southeastward up the stairway and turn right into the next hallway. Be wary of the Imp Fire Statue and Flaming Clayman and turn right again up a small stairwell. Get past the Fell Twin and drop down into a damp sarcophagus identical to the one mentioned above.
Next, face southeast and head up the staircase. Turn right, going into the hallway like before. However, this time, head into the room with the Imp Fire Pillar in Elden Ring and ride atop it to the next floor. This path will lead to a small chapel-like area connected to a linear passageway that goes directly to the boss lever. Be cautious of the Imps hanging from the ceiling along the way. After activating the switch, drop onto the watery floor below and go down the corridor in the northwest. This hall will take players back to the chamber entryway of Esgar, the Priest of Blood.
