Elden Ring Roundtable Hold NPCs and encounters

The Elden Ring’s Round Table Hosting

Melina will take you to the solid round table.

Your first encounter with her usually occurs when interacting with the Place of Mercy on the Gatefront (where she offers torrent mounts/summons). The second encounter occurs when interacting with the Site of Grace in the Overworld, unless you are on the Limgrave or Weeping Peninsula. Must visit Liurnia of the Lakes or Caelid.

When you reach it the Roundtable Hold position is Elden Ring If you check the map, it has its own quick travel point.


main room

Brother Corinne will sell the spell.

At the center of the Roundtable Hold is a round table. There is also a fireplace. Here you can find the following NPCs:

  • Corinne – This golden knight monk teaches summoning spells. He will eventually embark on a journey to the Altus Plateau and be part of a quest for the secret ending of the Age of Order.
  • Diallos – This fighter is standing next to Corhyn, who will tell you about a minion named Lanya. You can meet him again in Liurnia of the Lakes and Volcano Manor.
  • D, death hunter – If you go to Summonwater Village to the northeast of Rimgrave, you can meet D, Hunter of the Dead. Talk to him and he will be waiting for you in Roundtable Hold. Then he introduces you to Gurranq, who will accept any Deathroot items you have acquired.

Room of Two Fingers (Finger Leader Enia)

The chambers of the two fingers are also located in the central area. The door will only open after defeating the first demigod (eg a large boss like Godrick). You can get the Rapture emoticon with two fingers in this room. There is also a finger leader Enia with the following features:

  • By default, she sells common items such as Stonesword Keys (opens the door of an imp statue), Memory Stones (increases the number of equipped spells), and Rune Arcs (activates Great Rune Powers).
  • Some big bosses you defeat will sell their armor pieces.
  • Certain bosses also give you memories that you can exchange for two types of rewards. For more information, see the Reminders guide.
  • After defeating the two bosses with memory, Enia says that she can become an Elden Lord. This is how you can venture into the royal capital of Leyndell.

Waiting for the Elden Ring Players Roundtable while Mad Tongue's Alberich enters

Crazy Tongue Alberich will invade you as you exit the balcony.

There are two NPCs here.

  • Wizard Rosie – This wizard teaches Ash of War weapon skills. You first meet him at Stormveil Castle and then go to the balcony of Roundtable Hold. Killing Godric Graft gives Rosie +8 Rapier.
  • crazy tongue alberich – Crazy Tongue Alberich breaks in when he falls from the balcony. He drops the Tongue of Taunt, an item you can use to lure invaders into your realm.

west hallway

Stand in front of the fireplace and you will find the next NPC on the left.

  • Ensha – This NPC is leaning against a wall. He refuses to talk to you, but you are asked, “What do you want?” Express your feelings the first time you interact with him.

Sir Gideon Ofnir has information on every enemy.

  • Sir Gideon Opnir – Gideon is waiting in the room that Ensha is guarding. Most of the time he will tell you about the demigods and champions you will fight in the campaign.
  • Nepheli Lux – Nepheli Ruth meets for the first time in Stormvale Castle. She is in a small room near the courtyard with the troll guarding Godrick’s Arena. After defeating Godrick, you can see her in this hallway in Roundtable Hold. Here she will give you Arsenal Spell Talisman. She is also part of a quest involving Kenneth Haight.
  • twin virgin shells – The door behind Nepheli Loux leads to the Twin Maiden Husks. This strange character looks dead, but sells a variety of merchandise. However, for these items to become part of the pool, the bell bearings must be replaced.

  • shit eater – The room near the Twin Maiden Shells only opens after reaching the Altus Plateau. The NPC here looks like an intruder because of the red outline. But most of the time he will sit down and talk about death and corruption. He will later ask you to find the Seedbed Curse item that leads to Despair’s secret ending.

east hallway

You can meet the following NPCs in the east hallway.

  • hello – Your death bed companion is waiting for you in the room. She asks if you want a hug. If you agree, you will receive Baldachin’s blessing. This will give you an HP debuff, increasing your stance until you use the Canopy’s Blessing item. Fia also holds special secrets and quests that lead to the secret ending of Age of the Duskborn.

  • Blacksmith Hugh – The Forgemaster Hewg allows you to upgrade your weapons to the max with Forgestones, Sinister Forgestones and Ancient Dragonforgestones.
  • roderica – Meet Roderica for the first time in Rimgrave’s Stormhill Shack. Later, she will arrive at Roundtable Hold. She occasionally appears by the fireplace, but mostly stays close to Hew. Roderika allows you to upgrade Spirit Ash summons via Ghost Gloveworts and Grave Gloveworts.

The Imp statue in the basement requires a Stone Sword Key.

In the basement below Hewg and Roderika’s house is a door to the Imp statue.

  • The first room requires a stone sword key. Here’s a chest with a Crepus Black Key Crossbow.
  • The second room requires two stone sword keys. This has an Assassin’s Prayer Book that you can give to Corhyn or Miriel Turtles in the Church of the Covenant to get new summon spells.

Changes in the holding of roundtables over time

As we proceed we are making some changes to the roundtable entry. Elden Ringwork out:

  • Enia, Hewg, Roderika and Twin Maiden Husks. Typically these are vendor NPCs. You stay current no matter what.
  • Ensha. Get both of Haligtree’s Secret Rockets and this NPC will invade you. When you kill him, return to the place he was guarding before and get the Royal Ruins armor set.
  • Diallos and Nepheli Lu. As mentioned earlier, this NPC is part of a specific quest line.
  • Corhyn, Misteater and Fia. This NPC has a quest that leads to a secret ending.
  • D, the hunter of death. After making a fateful choice in Giants Forge, a room opens behind Hugh and Roderica. Inside is D’s corpse, D’s servant locker, and a set of twin armor sets.

  • Wizard Roger. Rogier will die someday too. Then you can choose from Sorcerer Rogier’s Bell Bearing and Spellblade Armor sets.
  • Sir Gideon Opnir – Gideon will still be around, at least until he gets to Ashen Capital’s Leyndell at the end of the game. There will be a boss fight and if he kills he will be gone forever.

Round table at Leyndell Royal Capital

How to access Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring

The Roundtable Hold in Elden Ring can be visited after your second meeting with Melina. Your first encounter with her normally occurs when you interact with the site of grace in Gatefront (whereupon she’ll give you the Torrent mount/summon). The second encounter occurs when you interact with a Site of Grace on the overworld as long as it’s not in Limgrave or the Weeping Peninsula — you’ll need to visit Liurnia of the Lakes or Caelid.
Once you reach it, the Roundtable Hold location in Elden Ring will have its own fast travel point when you check the map.
Main room

The central area of Roundtable Hold has, you guessed it, a round table. There’s also a fireplace. You’ll find the following NPCs here:

Corhyn – This monk of the Golden Order teaches Incantation spells. He’ll eventually head out on a journey to Altus Plateau, becoming part of a quest to unlock the Age of Order secret ending.

Diallos – This fighter stands next to Corhyn, and he’ll tell you about a servant named Lanya. You’ll meet him again in Liurnia of the Lakes and in Volcano Manor.

D, Hunter of the Dead – You’ll spot D, Hunter of the Dead as you’re heading to Summonwater Village in the northeastern portion of Limgrave. After talking to him, he’ll wait for you in Roundtable Hold. He’ll then introduce you to Gurranq, who’ll accept any Deathroot items you’ve acquired.
Chamber of the Two Fingers (Finger Reader Enia)

The chamber of the Two Fingers is also in the central area. The door will only open after you defeat your first demigod (i.e., major bosses such as Godrick). Inside this room, you can interact with the Two Fingers to receive the “Rapture” emote. Likewise, there’s Finger Reader Enia, who has the following functions:
By default, she sells regular items like Stonesword Keys (to open Imp Statue doorways), Memory Stones (to increase the number of equipped spells), and Rune Arcs (to activate Great Rune powers).
Some major bosses that you defeat will have their armor pieces up for sale.
Certain bosses also grant Remembrances that can be exchanged for two types of rewards. You can learn more in our Remembrances guide.
After defeating two bosses with Remembrances, Enia will say that you can become the Elden Lord. This lets you venture forth into Leyndell, Royal Capital.

There are two NPCs here:

Sorcerer Rogier – This sorcerer teaches Ashes of War weapon skills. You’ll first meet him in Stormveil Castle, whereupon he’ll move to the Roundtable Hold’s balcony. After defeating Godrick the Grafted, he’ll give you Rogier’s Rapier +8.

Mad Tongue Alberich – Mad Tongue Alberich will invade once you drop down from the balcony. He’ll drop the Taunter’s Tongue, an item that allows you to lure invaders to your realm.
West hallway
To your left when facing the fireplace, you’ll find these NPCs:

Ensha – This NPC is leaning against the wall. Although he refuses to talk to you, you’ll receive the “What Do You Want?” emote when you first interact with him.

Dung Eater – The room near the Twin Maiden Husks will only open after you reach Altus Plateau. The NPC here looks like an invader due to the red outline. But, he’ll mostly stay seated, goading you with talks of death and decay. He’ll later ask you to seek Seedbed Curse items, eventually leading to the Despair secret ending.
East hallway
You’ll encounter the following NPCs in the eastern hallway:

Roderika – You’ll first meet Roderika in Stormhill Shack in Limgrave. Later, she’ll arrive in Roundtable Hold. She’ll mostly stay near Hewg, though she’ll sometimes appear next to the fireplace. Roderika allows you to upgrade Spirit Ash Summons via Ghost Gloveworts and Grave Gloveworts.
