Genshin Impact 2.7 release date, rewards and everything we know

Genshin Impact 2.7

Genshin Impact version 2.7 has been delayed. It started as a rumor about a release date, but now we know for sure. Luckily, miHoYo Genshin 2.6 will add a third tier (which takes more time to get Ayaka) and hand out some pretty generous rewards as well.

If you’d like to know more about the Genshin Impact 2.7 release date, rewards, or additional events, here’s everything we know.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Release Date and Live Stream

Both the Genshin Impact 2.7 update and the 2.7 live stream have been delayed. The delay has been confirmed by miHoYo, but they haven’t announced a new release date yet. There is a great opportunity to watch other live streams (including the live stream code from Primogems) later.

According to the internet, the new release date for 2.7 is June 8th, four weeks from the original release date of May 11th. This is probably based on the end date of version 2.6 step 3 (more details below). This is in 7.6.

Given that miHoYo has not yet specified a live streaming date and is offering weekly rewards rewards, it’s best not to expect version 2.7 until the end of May.

Why is Genshin Impact 2.7 delayed?

Just in case you’re curious, miHoYo didn’t reveal the reason for the Genshin Impact 2.7 delay. However, the prevailing view is that this delay is due to the COVID-19 lockdown in Shanghai. At the time of writing, the hard ban is still in effect.

Genshin Impact 2.7 Offers Rewards Rewards

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo promised weekly rewards. For each additional week it takes to reach version 2.7, players will receive:

  • 400 Prime Gems
  • Fragile Resin x1: Used to earn double rewards in Dungeons and Ley Challenges.
  • Heroic Spirit x7: Character level up material.
  • Arcane Enhanced Ore x16: Weapon level up material.
  • 120,000 Mora

You can receive rewards through the in-game mail system. However, only players who have reached Adventure Rank 5 by May 11 can receive the reward. If the period between the last reward bonus and the 2.7 release is less than one week, the bonus amount will be adjusted accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: You must claim your reward rewards before version 2.7 is released!

  • Ayaka’s wish flag and weapon flag It will stay a bit longer until version 2.6 is over.
  • The same applies to the “commissioning” event. With Ayaka, Razor, Sayu, and Rosaria.
  • New Event: Spices from the West. This is a cooking event that runs from May 14th to June 7th.
  • New Event: Mastery Overflow. You can receive double rewards up to 3 times a day in the talent material dungeon. This event starts on May 22nd and ends on May 29th.

We don’t know much about the upcoming Genshin Impact update as we didn’t have a 2.7 live stream. However, it is very likely that the Kuki Shinobu and Yelan characters announced a few weeks ago will be part of the new update.

Conclusion: You’ll have to be patient for the next few weeks… But 400 Primogems per week are pretty cute, aren’t they?
