Genshin Impact: Realms of Guile & War Battle Guide
Direcliff Court has three combat rounds in total. Each round will have three waves of monsters, all of which are randomized. The rule for this Realm is as follows: Each time 1 combat round is completed, you must choose 1 character to continue combat, while the other party members will be unable to do so. This means that players should not place all their best fighters into one team, as they will only be able to keep one of them for the remaining challenges.
If players do not have sufficient characters, Direcliff Court offers the Trial Characters: Xingqiu, Qiqi, Chongyun, Keqing, Yanfei, Yelan, Shenhe, and Yun Jin. Players should form teams of equal strength and account for saving one main DPS character to bring into the next round. Otherwise, players should plan to use different team compositions such as: Freeze, Melt, Supercharged, and other teams that benefit from Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact.
In order to receive all rewards available for this Realm, players must successfully complete at Direcliff Court at all three difficulties: Default Animosity, Stern Antagonism, and Apex Hostility while completing at least two combat rounds for the first two difficulties. However, as completing challenges on the highest difficulty allows players to claim rewards for each difficulty below it, it is best to start with Apex Hostility and adjust accordingly if it is too difficult.
Genshin Impact: Kaleidoscope Cage Battle Guide – Day 2
Similar to Direcliff Court, Kaleidoscope Cage contains three combat rounds. The rule for this Realm is as follows: Each time 1 combat round is completed, 2 random characters will be unable to continue on in combat, while other party members will be able to do so. Since characters will be taken out by random, it is best to pick characters that are versatile or can be equally as viable in a different team composition than the starting one—such as one of Genshin Impact’s support characters.
The Trial Characters for this Realm are: Jean, Ningguang, Zhongli, Sucrose, Yanfei, Raiden Shogun, Gorou, and Arataki Itto. Jean, Zhongli, and Raiden Shogun are versatile characters in that they can function in many different teams. Jean can Swirl and heal her team, while Zhongli can provide a strong shield and act as a sub-DPS. Raiden Shogun can benefit Electrocharged team compositions or act as the main DPS with added supports.
To receive all rewards available, players must successfully complete Kaleidoscope Cage at all difficulties. Additionally, players must need to complete at least two combat rounds for Default Animosity and Stern Antagonism. Again, it is best to start with Apex Hostility first.
Genshin Impact: Insurgent Twilight Battle Guide – Day 3
Insurgent Twilight contains three combat rounds in total. The rule is as follows: Each time 1 combat round is completed, all party members will have to recuperate for 1 turn, during which they will be unable to be deployed. This means the entire team who completed the round will be rendered unusable for the next. Players may have to rely on unusual team compositions in Genshin Impact for this Realm.
Although this rule puts an entire team on a cool-down, this makes it more predictable to plan for future rounds as players can reuse the same benched team when they are available again. Players will be able to use the following Trial Characters: Xiao, Diona, Kazuha, Thoma, Sayu, Kujou Sara, Yae Miko, and Yelan. Instead of planning for lost characters, players should commit to at least two solid team compositions to complete this Realm. After each round, players can alternate the teams as they please.
To receive all available rewards, players must complete this Realm at Default Animosity, Stern Antagonism, and Apex Hostility. They must also complete two combat rounds of the first two difficulties. This will earn players rewards such as Primogems, which players can exchange using Genshin Impact’s Wish system.
Genshin Impact: Utmost Deception Battle Guide – Day 4
The last Realms of Guile and War Realm is Utmost Deception with a total of six combat rounds. This Realm combines previous rules, which makes this the most difficult one to complete. The rule for this Realm is as follows: Each time 1 combat round is completed, you must choose 1 character to continue combat. All other party members will have to recuperate for 2 turns, during which they will be unable to be deployed.
Similar to the previous Domains, players will be able to keep one character through each round. However, they will also lose access to the remaining team for two turns. This forces players to create at least three team compositions with a strong DPS character that can carry the rest of the team. Thankfully, Utmost Deception offers the Trial Characters: Beidou, Xiao, Zhongli, Diona, Sayu, Itto, Yae Miko, and Yun Jin. Players should use these characters if they do not have adequate supports or DPS chararcters. Genshin Impact’s 5-star Anemo-user Xiao is a powerful character to utilize.
Players should save their strongest team lineup for the sixth round, as this tends to be the most difficult. Additionally, using the proper Strategems fit for each team will aid tremendously in their success. Similar to the previous Realms, players will need to complete at least four combat rounds in all three difficulties as well as finish each difficulty once.
With the rewards obtained by completing all Realms of Guile and War, players will be able to receive a plethora of rewards in exchange. Players can earn a Crown of Insight, Weapon Refinement and Ascension Materials, Talent Level-up Materials, Character EXP Materials, and Mora. With these rewards, Genshin Impact players will be better prepared for the next update.
