Google’s new Pixel Buds Pro earbuds were announced Wednesday at the tech giant’s I/O 2022 conference with features for audiophiles and athletes.

Pixel Buds Pro offers a variety of sound control methods, such as the Silent Seal, which works with ANC to block out the outside world, even if the tip doesn’t completely fit in your ear. It also has a built-in sensor that measures ear pressure to ensure that the device fits comfortably. Google also offers Volume EQ, which allows you to dynamically adjust the volume and get a well-rounded sound regardless of your surroundings. Google said spatial audio would be supported in the future, but didn’t say when.
Other features include a transparent mode that allows for ambient noise so you can hear the outside world and has an IPX4 waterproof rating. The case itself is rated IPX2. This rating means they can withstand a few splashes of water, but cannot survive diving.

Pixel Buds Pro lasts up to 11 hours on a single charge, or 7 hours with active noise cancellation enabled. The company also noted that you can use Find My Device to find misplaced Pixel Buds, even if they are lost.
Pixel Buds Pro is available in four colors in a two-tone design: Coral Pink, Lemongrass Yellow, Misty Blue and Charcoal. Available for pre-order on July 21st for $199.
