GTA 5 PS5 update speeds up the transition between Story Mode and GTA Online

GTA 5

GTA 5 received some welcome improvements after a small update.

Although the original game was released almost a decade ago, Rockstar is still working on improving GTA 5. The developers have recently released Update 1.56 for PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game, as well as previous PS4 and Xbox One editions. The update is fairly small, but introduces fan-favorite fixes and tweaks.

One of the most interesting additions is the option to disable motion blur, which players have been requesting since the release of the next-gen version of GTA 5. You won’t even have to wait to enter GTA Online on PS5 because Rockstar has accelerated the game’s transition between story mode and multiplayer. We also fixed an issue where Xbox Series X players would not hear in-game audio during parties.

According to Kotaku, players also noticed other changes that Rockstar didn’t include in the patch notes. Changes included in the update include a new option to hide activity on the map, and fans will also notice that nightclub income is now increasing on console and PC. Kotaku also revealed that next-gen files have been added to the PC version. These are currently empty, but suggest that next-gen improvements to the PC version are in the works.

Rockstar has confirmed the following: Development of GTA 6 is “in full swing”. Check out all the news, official updates and rumors about the sixth part of the highly anticipated crime sim.
