343 Industries no longer organizes seasons. Halo: The Master Chief CollectionBut the developers still support the game. The next big update will be on Monday and will include a fan-favorite Halo mod called FloodFight. Halo 3: ODST. Deluge Fire Fight.
Firefight is a cooperative survival mode where waves of enemies attack. What 343 Industries calls this iteration, FloodFight sends waves of Flood into battle, turning the Alliance into fearsome Flood creatures in normal mode. The mod was tested in beta last year, but the new update adds “many network improvements” and fixes numerous bugs. According to 343 Industries, the upgrade “is an overall advantage for Firefight.”

At first, players will find that the flood is accompanied by a thick fog, which gives every Firefight mission a new and spooky atmosphere. Players will be able to see this fog disappear dynamically when a tidal wave appears and disappear when a normal conventional wave appears (in a hybrid of Flood and Alliance variants).
Floods can now occupy vehicles for the first time since. Halo 2 And players can meet or command them through multiple fire missions. Flood enemies now have some new animations that allow you to control this vehicle, traverse the environment more efficiently, and use support weapons like turrets.
to ODSTThere are three new types of Tide Combat Forms: Infested Civilians, Infested ODSTs, and Infested Elite Majors wearing red armor and energy shields.
Flood can also use any known strategy. The stalker form completely changes the way classic firefighting missions are played, with the walls expandable and can be used as a ranged fighter in unexpected places. Floods can also fall on the map via the scatter module.
Finally, unlike Master Chiefs, ODSTs can be respawned by Flood. Be careful as you may have to fight your own resurrected allies or yourself!
343 Industries has added “Perks” to help players with: B. A gun rack with an assault rifle or combat rifle. Some maps have flamethrowers or friendly NPCs.
