Winter is the best time to craft arctic animal crafts. Today I’m going to show you some fun winter craft ideas you can make with your kids.
You can use your handprints on the wings and your child’s on the feet, so it’s a great activity for moms and dads to do together.
How to Make Paper Penguin Crafts with Handprints
What you need:
- different colored paper
- pencil
- scissors
- glue
- Optional: googly eyes
step-by-step instructions
First cut out the shape of the penguin’s body (don’t know how? Just make an 8 and cut out the entire perimeter, leaving extra space for the ‘neck’).
Other colors work well too.
Cut a little penguin shape out of white paper and cut a small V at the top.
Apply glue to the black shape…
…and glue a white shape on it.
Then cut a triangle (or double triangle) out of orange paper and attach it to the penguin’s face.
Also glue two googly eyes or draw the eyes with a marker.
Cut the outline along the outline of the hand.
Two black hands for penguin wings and two orange hands for penguin feet.
Glue the handprints to the body.
Done, your simple paper penguin is ready.
