Customize friend emoticons to use in conversations
what you need to know
- Tap on Bitmoji or your profile picture. upper left > gear top right icon > manage > friend emoticon.
- win all emoticons Then tap to change new emoji I want to replace it.
- tab Back button (<) explore again chat tab Tap (speech bubble icon) to see the new emoticons applied.
When you send and receive Snaps from friends on Snapchat, you’ll see emojis applied to chat items that indicate the type of relationship based on your Snap activity. You can easily customize these emojis by following these steps:
How to Change Snapchat Friends Emoji for Conversation
The steps to customize your friend emoji are almost identical in the Snapchat iOS app and the Snapchat Android app, with a few minor differences mentioned below. The following screenshot shows the iOS version.
In the Snapchat app, tap Bitmoji or your profile picture in the upper-left corner of the tab.
tab gear Click the icon in the upper right corner to access the settings.
Scroll down in the iOS app manage in additional services.
Scroll down in the Android app Customize Emoji.

Optionally repeat steps 5-7 for the friend emoticons you want to change.

To return to the original emoji after making changes reset to default It’s at the bottom of the Friends Emoji tab. You can also customize the emoticon’s skin color by selecting: emoticon skin tone Customize it in the Friends Emoji/Emoji tab.
Go back to the Chats tab (represented by the speech bubble icon in the bottom menu) to see the new custom emoji applied to the chat list.
Bitmoji also changed
Bitmoji is an avatar that you can customize to look exactly like you on Snapchat by replacing your profile picture. It will appear next to your name in Search and Chat, and next to your profile settings and stickers in Snapshots.
You can customize Bitmoji at any time by tapping . Bitmoji in your profile settings. If you don’t have Bitmoji yet Create a bitmoji To set – otherwise tap change my clothes, Edit my Bitmoji or Choose a selfie Customize the look of an existing Bitmoji.
