Delete sites from desktop on a case-by-case basis
Use this method to delete URLs from your browsing history one by one.
Open a Firefox window and type in the address bar.
Use the up and down arrows on your keyboard to navigate to the URL you want to delete.
With the URL highlighted move+turn off. The URL disappears from the search bar history.
Clear your entire browsing history in Firefox for desktop
Use this method to clear your browsing history.
Open a Firefox window and select library (It looks like four books on the shelf) in the top menu bar.
Choose story.
Choose Delete recent history.
Choose deletion period select the drop-down menu all.
Choose Forms and search history checkbox. Uncheck the items you don’t want to delete.
Choose Confirm. You have deleted your browsing history.
Clear Browsing History in Firefox Mobile App
None of the features will delete the URL from the Firefox mobile app search bar, but you can easily clear your search history in Firefox preferences.

With the URL highlighted X rightmost.
The URL will be removed from your search box history.

Clear Browsing History in Microsoft Edge
In Edge, you can’t delete search bar items individually, but you can easily delete search items in one go.
Open an Edge window and select it. settings, etc. (3 dots) It’s in the upper-right corner.

Under Clear browser dataChoose Select what to delete.
