Open Facebook in Safari and tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of your browser. Scroll down and tap setting.

Difference between Facebook Deactivation and Deletion
Deactivation and deletion are different.

When you deactivate your account, all your posts and photos will be offline and invisible to others (your messages will still be visible to people you send messages to). Reactivate your account and everything will reappear.

However, when you delete your Facebook account, everything including posts, photos and messages is permanently and irretrievably deleted. Facebook will wait 30 days if you change your mind, but after that you will have to create a new account from scratch.
