How to Enable Cross-Progression and Cross-Play in Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal uses Blizzard’s Battle.net service, and players need a Battle.net account to use cross-progression and crossplay. The game can be enjoyed using a guest account on mobile, with the option to backup this account to the cloud. However, Battle.net is required for cross-progression and seamless cross-platform play and is recommended for most players.

PC players should already have their accounts linked, as they have to log into the Battle.net launcher to download and launch Diablo Immortal. Mobile players will have to log into their Battle.net accounts but luckily, the process for linking players’ Battle.net accounts on mobile is simple. Diablo Immortal’s PC and mobile versions feel identical, making it easier for players to dungeon crawl on PC and then pick up exactly where they left off on the go with their phones.

  • Step One: Launch Diablo Immortal.
  • Step Two: Tap the box marked Guest in the top left of the screen.
  • Step Three: This should open a new window. Tap Log In. This will open a sign-in page for Battle.net.
  • Step Four: Players can sign in to their Battle.net accounts. Players without Battle.net accounts can also create new accounts from this screen.
  • Step Five: Once the player is logged in, the sign-in page should close and return the player to the game. Their account name should then be visible in the box on the top left.

Players can then start playing the game, running through the campaign and quickly ranking up Diablo Immortal’s battle pass. The player’s Battle.net friends list can be found in Diablo Immortal’s game menu, although parties are only available once the player has finished the first tutorial mission. Players can team up with friends by sending party invites, although they can only join parties with players on the same server, regardless of platform. As such, it’s highly recommended that players double check that they’re creating their characters on the same servers as their friends before jumping into Diablo Immortal.

Diablo Immortal is available now on iOS, Android, and PC via Battle.net.
