How to Fix Fortnite Message “You do not have permission to play Fortnite”.

The most common cause seems to be when your Epic games account is linked to another email address or account, such as on the PlayStation Network or Xbox Live. An easy way to do this is to check any other email accounts you may have used in the past and which accounts are linked to the Epic Games account and platform from which you are playing Fortnite. Once you find the culprit, simply unlink and log in with the correct account on the device you want to use.

If you’re having trouble finding the email address that’s causing the problem, try them all. Please use ‘Forgot your password?’ Add the feature to the Epic Games signup page and send your recovery information to the email address you created. Eventually you’ll find a password reset link in one of your inboxes, and then you can log in and disconnect.

In short, if you are getting “You are not authorized to play Fortnite” error, double and triple check all other emails you have used in the past to see which emails are currently associated with your system. You want to play. Unlink, log in to your Epic Games account To do Connect and connect the two there.
