How to set up custom workouts in Ring Fit Adventure that work for you

Ring Fit Adventure is an excellent workout tool no matter what part of your body you’re hoping to tone. Whether you’re making your way through Adventure Mode, trying to beat your high-score in your favourite minigame, or tackling a Quick Play workout, there are plenty of ways to stay active, but if you want to sculpt your very own workout, you’ll need to check out Custom Mode.

To do that, you’ll simply need to navigate to the ‘Custom’ selection directly from the game’s main menu, and then select your profile. There, you’ll be met with 20 empty playlists, ready for you to build into a selection of your ideal workouts.

If you’re a newcomer to the world of Ring Fit Adventure, you might want to check out the ‘Recommended’ tab that will appear whenever you open a new playlist. These workouts come randomly pre-selected with moves that will focus on a specific part of your body, from Upper Arms, to Legs and everything in between. There are even options to help you focus on your flexibility, posture, and stamina.

If you’re hoping to build your own workout routine from scratch, however, you’ll be able to arrange up to 10 exercises from across 12 of Ring Fit’s minigames and more than 40 of its various Fit Skills, all easy to find based on the body part they’re training. Simply select a skill and it’ll slot into place in your playlist, where you’ll be able to set the number of reps you want to do (based on Ring Fit Adventure’s difficulty levels), and rearrange the exercise order to suit your preferences.

If you really want to mix things up, there are a couple of other types of workout you can integrate into your custom mode playlists. If you fancy warming up or cooling down with a run, you can add in a course from any of the Adventure Mode sections you’ve previously completed. And if you prefer dancing shoes to running shoes, you can also add Ring Fit Adventure’s Rhythm Game sections to your playlist, changing the difficulty to match your skills

With dozens of exercises, minigames, and running routes at your disposal, and five different difficulty modes available for most Fit Skills, there are thousands of ways to make your Ring Fit Adventure workout unique to you, thanks to Custom Mode.
