Samsung devices place an overlay (OneUI) on top of the base Android OS, making them work slightly differently from other phones and tablets. Here’s how to find, download, and install Android 12.
From the home screen, swipe up to see your apps.
Tap Settings.
Scroll down and select Software Update.
Tap Download and install.
To make your phone grab new updates as they become available, turn on the switch next to Auto download over Wi-Fi.
The next screen will check for an update and show you what’s in it. Select Download to continue.
After the update downloads, tap Install now.
Your phone will install the new OS and restart.
Which Devices Are Compatible With Android 12?
