Why use BlueStacks on Mac?

BlueStacks is a free Android emulator that works on both Windows and macOS. If you have a Mac and don’t have an Android device, this is the best way to access Android-only apps. Android games work very well on most Mac hardware, so if you have an older Android device or a cheaper handset and a more powerful Mac, it’s also great for gaming.

If the game doesn’t have a native Mac version, BlueStacks also provides a way to play it. For example, an emulator like BlueStacks is the only way to play Of Us on an Intel Mac.

What if BlueStacks doesn’t work on my Mac?

If you are having trouble installing BlueStacks on your Mac, try updating your macOS. BlueStacks often do not work unless macOS is fully updated. BlueStacks recommends using macOS 10.13 or later. Versions prior to 10.12 do not support BlueStacks at all. You will not be able to run BlueStacks without upgrading.
