The crossover event between Final Fantasy 14 and Final Fantasy 15 was a huge success. MMOs are clearly fertile ground to plant elements from other games, so the official PlayStation Magazine asks director and producer Naoki Yoshida what titles he wants to include in his dream Final Fantasy crossover.

“World of Warcraft,” he replied quickly. “And Diablo too!”

Then he joked, “Oh, but Blizzard [me]You know, ‘Oh, we want you to take the reins to make Diablo 4. Oh, I’ll give up whatever I’m doing and I’ll get through it,’ he said later. He even described himself as the ‘fanboy’ of the series.

“It was then,” he said. [I] ‘Oh, I see. Let’s wait at this point to make a decision.’ So we’ve reached a perfect circle at this point. But of course we would like to revisit it and consider the possibility. Maybe Shadowbringers will be released and it will be some kind of settlement.”
