Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga lets you play as 300 characters including Babu Frik

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has around 300 playable characters, including the adorable Babu Frik, as confirmed in the latest issue of the official PlayStation Magazine.

In an interview with OPM, lead hub designer Dawn McDiarmid at developer TT Games confirmed that the Lego Skywalker Saga features around 800 unique characters, around 300 of which are playable from various points in the series. The ambitious collection explores all nine Star Wars movies and lets you play them in any order you like. If you’re a fan of Engineer Babu Frik, we recommend starting with Rise of Skywalker, as the adorable Anzellan is fully playable.

“I think fans of the new trilogy will be delighted to hear that Babu Frik is coming as a playable character. He’s probably the cutest thing I’ve ever seen,” McDiarmid repeated many Star Wars reactions to. Pan.

In addition to hundreds of new and existing characters, the Lego Skywalker Saga offers several upgrades to the core LEGO Star Wars game loop. McDiarmid described a new upgrade system, Aimed Fire, “a deeper quest system that not only provides a more elaborate and comical quest chain, but also an all-new tracking system on a data pad that lets you engage in quests”. You can do multiple quests at once.”

However, the PS5 version of the game will also be released without some next-gen features. DualSense haptic feedback, ray-traced visuals, and 3D audio are not available at launch when running the game through backwards compatibility.
