Thoughts on LiveOne
This service is very similar to other music streaming sites/apps that allow you to create custom radio stations like Pandora and Spotify. But what stands out is the live events and ease of use.
You can’t choose the exact song you want to listen to, but if you create a custom station, it will cycle through the songs at some point. Otherwise, it’s a great way to find new music related to songs you’ve never heard of before but like.
One annoying thing about LiveOne is that it tells you that some features you’re trying to access are only available if you pay for a membership. These options are indicated by small red dots.
Also, like any other free service, the LiveOne app allows you to find ads and advertisements. But considering that all the music is free, this might be acceptable. You can also remove ads by upgrading to a membership plan if you wish.
