Lost Ark progression guide to upgrade your gear and reach Tier 3

Lost arc progression is initially about character level, but then moves through item levels and tiers. Everything the endgame players have been talking about: how to get to Tier 1, how to get from T1 to T2, and how to get to Tier 3 (finally!).

What you do after level 50 is up to you, but if your goal is to progress through the ranks, here’s a list of end-game activities you should prioritize. We’ll start at level 0 (or actually 10) and then go up to the mythical part of the legendary Tier 3 armor. Ready?

What does the Lost Ark process include?

In a nutshell, lost arc progression is divided into character leveling at the beginning of the game and item leveling at the end of the game. In the early game, character leveling represents the journey from level 10 (after the prologue) to level 50. Level 50 is often said to be the max level, but this is not true. The maximum level for Lost Ark is 60 Von Get. Level 50 to 60 takes a lot of time (we’re talking months here).

When you reach character level 50, item level becomes the most important indicator of your progress. And make no mistake. The game is not yet “completed”. In fact, the more endgame content you unlock, the less linear the progression will be from level 50.

How to Reach Level 50 in Lost Ark

Haven’t reached level 50 yet? Then you don’t have to worry about the item level yet. Instead, we should focus on Luterra’s political issues. The best way to level up after completing the prologue is to simply follow the main quest line. Side quests are relatively easy, and they’re usually good to do because they’re in the same area as the main quests.

Starting in Prideholme, Rethramis, the first main questline takes you through Yudia, West Luterra and East Luterra before getting the ship. Ships offer opportunities to explore new areas and islands – but use our island guide to lost treasures to help – continuing the main questline (now turning blue in the journal) on a new continent Best.

In short, visit the continents as follows to reach the appropriate character and item levels.

  • Main quest completed In Rethramis, Yudia and Luterra (western and eastern). You must be level 35 when completing Set Sail! save.
  • sail with tortoic Continue the world quest to reach level 40+.
  • Sailing to Anika Reach level 45 or higher.
  • Sail to Artetin. You will reach level 50 before completing the last world quest on this continent. Item level should also be around 250.

From now on, it’s not as simple as “following the quest line”. You are free to choose the end game activity you want. However, to quickly level up from item level 250 to 302, you must do one of the following:

  • Complete the North Vern quest lineUnlock Chaos Dungeon and start honing until you reach a full item level 302 set.
  • Alternatively, you can drive to Shushire. And do the entire main quest line. You end up with a full set of item level 302 gear.

Also, you don’t want to miss out on powerful abilities, so you must complete the Awakening Skill quest after completing North Vern. Then join the next activity to level up from item level 302 to 460.

  • Guardian Raid Level 1 (302+)
  • Chaos Dungeon: North Burn Resonance
  • Abyssal Dungeons: Ancient Elberia (340+)
  • Don’t forget to do Una’s quests and do some island hopping. Certain islands, such as Panda Island and Dreamgull Island, are great sources of upgrade materials.

You can visit the Handel Continent where the second awakening quest is at item level 460. First go through the entire Rohendel questline, then do the following to equip it to item level 600.

  • Abyssal Dungeons: Phantom Palace (460+)
  • Complete the Handel Chaos Dungeon
  • Guardian Raid Level 2 (460+)

Completing these dungeons and quests will reward you with all the Guardian Stones, Destruction Stones and Harmony Shards needed to upgrade your gear to +15 (item level 600). Obtain the second awakening ability after completing the Rohendel questline.

Next goal: progress from level 1 to level 2. Unfortunately, your dungeon choices are somewhat limited until you reach item level 800. Here’s what you can do to move from item level 600 to 802:

  • sail to yon Complete the Yorn quest line.
  • Complete Yon Chaos Dungeon (600+) until you have the level 802 armor set (rare T2 armor).
  • Complete Una’s tasks as always. Also, don’t forget to upgrade your Engravings, Decks, and Rapport stats.

Promote from level 2 to level 3 (item levels 802 to 1100) by completing the following activities:

  • Abyssal Dungeons: Ark of Arrogance (840+) drops the epic T2 armor.
  • Guardian Raid Level 3 (802+) and Level 4 (960+)
  • Upon reaching item level 960, sail to Feiton and do the main quest.
  • Then run Feiton Chaos Dungeon (960+).
  • Keep doing good and upgrade your gear (+15) until you reach item level 1100.

You have finally reached Level 3 of the Lost Ark! That said, it’s time to visit another continent, Punica. After completing the quest, continue to the next step to equip 1100 to 1370.

  • Chaos Dungeon: Perform Punika level 1 (1100+) to get item level 1302 gear.
  • Guardian Raid Level 5 (1302+)
  • Abyss Dungeon: Well of Oreha (1325+)
  • Upgrade Tier 3 Epic Gear Set to +15 (Item Level 1370)

Upcoming Lost Ark Endgame Content

You’ve finally reached item level 1370+ in the epic tier 3 set. You might think you’ve completed all of Lost Ark’s endgame content now, but there’s so much more to it than that. But most of them haven’t been released in the western version, so be patient. From March 2022 you will be able to participate in the first Abyss Raid: Argos. You can get your first T3 Legendary Armor, so I don’t recommend skipping this one.

Good luck in disposing of the lost treasure. Keep an eye out for more Abyss Raids and Legion Raids in the coming months!
