The upcoming Super Mario Bros. The film was delayed by almost four months as Nintendo announced a new release date for April 2023.
Game Director Shigeru Miyamoto “This is Miyamoto” Tweet from your Nintendo account. “After consulting with Mr. Chris [Meledandri], Super Mario Bros. As partners of the film’s Illumination, we have decided to postpone the global release to spring 2023. April 28th in Japan and April 7th in North America. We sincerely apologize. But I promise it was worth the wait.”
Miyamoto and Meledrandi are both working as producers for the film, which was originally scheduled for release on December 21, 2022, and is being written by Matthew Fogel, screenwriter for Minions: The Rise of Gru.
Chris Pratt plays the plumber, Charlie Day plays Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy Princess Peach, Jack Black Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key Toad, and Seth Logan Donkey Kong.
Mario isn’t limited to acting as a voice actor for Pratt’s soon to come. He will also voice the iconic orange cat Garfield in the new film. Next you will see Pratt. Jurassic World 3and so is it Thor: Love and Thunder And in Guardians of the Galaxy 3, he’ll return to his role as Star-Lord.
