How to make a fingerprint card for Mother’s Day?

What you need:

  • Construction paper (black, pink and white)
  • scissors
  • paint in different colors
  • glue
  • Ribbon (selected color)

Take a sheet of construction paper and fold it in half.

Cut the pink paper and stick it to the front of the black paper.

Take your hand and put it down. Color it in any color you like. The photo here shows brown and tan.

Put your hand on the white paper.

Press firmly enough to release the paint from the paper. These Mother’s Day handprint cards will be well worth making when you’re done!

Dry the handprints and then cut them.

Glue your handprints to the pink paper. If you are helping young children with this craft, you may need to help them cut.
