New Aquaman 2 and Shazam 2 footage unveils villains and jokes about Fast and Furious

Warner Bros. brought DC’s big hitters to CinemaCon in Las Vegas to herald an upcoming movie. Attendees were introduced to Aquaman 2’s Sizzle reel and the new Shazam 2 trailer at the annual event.

To kick off the celebration, Jack Dylan Grazer, Helen Mirren and Asher Angel, along with Zachary Levi, were in attendance to tease Shazam! the wrath of the gods. As of Deadline, the trailer started off with a cheeky reference to Wonder Woman as Shazam appeared to be talking to an Amazon superhero in a Parisian restaurant.

He warns that he can’t do anything serious before shrinking, and we learn that it was Djimon Hounsou’s wizard the whole time. He urges him to fight for his family, warning them to beware of the “daughters of Atlas.”

Pursue News also released a teaser where Shazam Mirren’s villain Hespera jokes about Fast and the Furious. He told Mirren, who played The Magdala Show in the franchise, “My Lady, I’ve seen all of the Fast and Furious movies. It’s all about family!” Nothing happens until all the kids in the costume are done. Behind Hespera.

Regarding the upcoming film, Levi said of the upcoming film, “I don’t want to break away from the magic that I found in the first movie by balancing action, comedy, drama and heart. That’s a big part of what people connect with in the first movie.”

Jason Momoa also appeared at a Warner Bros event in a video message teasing Aquaman and Lost Kingdom. He shared a sizzling role suggesting that the film will focus more on the origin story of Black Manta’s villain.

According to Screen Rant, this reveals a new look to Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s mercenary, aboard a new ship when the dark forces have overtaken him. The video also briefly shows Momoa fighting a giant creature in Aquaman. Regarding the role of Sizzle, Momo said, “The characters are quite intense. Nothing else I was involved with did that.”
