Something mysterious is happening in the world of Stranger Things. Fans are struggling to find it.

Fans quickly noticed that the coordinates were the Third Street Promenade, an outdoor shopping mall in Santa Monica, California. In a live stream, the camera periodically zooms in on the field of view. The watch is covered in cobwebs, with what appear to be tentacles or vines turned upside down, reminiscent of the Demogorgon, the monster that inhabits it. Men in lab coats labeled Hawkins National Laboratory (HNL) take turns accessing watches and checking clipboards. HNL was introduced a lot in the first season as a testing facility where Eleven was hosted and tested.

The first part of Season 4 of Stranger Things will premiere on May 27, and the second part will be streamed on July 1. The series is set to close after season 5, and Duffer Brothers said the show’s arrangement has proven “too broad” to be completed in just four seasons.

The clock counts down hours and minutes… anything. Youtuber users guessed in the stream chat that the countdown will be on the new trailer or a bigger one.
