One actor from The Witcher isn’t sure if they’re returning for season 3

The Witcher actress Adjoa Andoh, who plays Nenneke in the fantasy Netflix series, isn’t sure she’ll return for the upcoming third season.

“Yeah, I’m not sure. We’ll see,” Andoh told Radio Times. “The book is too big. And they have taken very different paths in the story. Nenneke is featured a lot in the book. But it depends on what you want to do with this version.”

Andoh appeared as Nenneke, the priestess of the Temple of Melitele, who provided advice and guidance to Geralt and Ciri in two episodes of Season 2 of The Witcher. Fans of Andrzej Sapkowski’s books and short stories will know that Nenneke is returning for the second half of the series. However, this is not the case in Time of Contempt, the novel adapted for Season 3 of The Witcher.

“While the continent’s lords, wizards and beasts vied to capture her, Geralt was determined to take Ciri from Cintra and protect her from those who would play hide and seek and threaten to destroy her newly united family. Yennefer entrusted with Ciri’s magic training. takes her to the sheltered fortress of Aretuza. Instead, they set foot on a battlefield of political corruption, black magic and betrayal. They must fight back and take every risk, or they risk losing each other forever.”

Even if the Continent doesn’t claim Andoh, she’ll likely reprise her role as Lady Banbury in Season 3 of Bridgerton. For more on Netflix’s most gluttonous series, check out our collection of the best Netflix shows.
