OnePlus Announces the Release of the 10 Pro 5G in the US and Canada
Available for pre-order today starting April 14th
A few months after its launch in China, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G smartphone is finally landing in the US and Canada.
Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform, the 10 Pro features a 6.7-inch Corning Gorilla Glass Victus AMOLED display, a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging, and 8GB of RAM. Notable features include a multi-lens camera system with a new ultra-wide option and a cooling system that keeps the phone at a comfortable temperature.
One Plus
The high quality of the screen is thanks to a 120Hz refresh rate and dual color calibration that provides high color accuracy at various brightness levels. There’s also AI Adaptive Brightness, where your device learns your display settings and adjusts accordingly.
To meet the screen requirements, the 10 Pro’s battery features 65W SUPERVOOC wired charging, which can be fully charged in 34 minutes. It also supports 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, which is a bit slow at 47 minutes.
The rear camera system consists of an 8-megapixel telephoto lens capable of shooting up to 150 degrees, a 48-megapixel main lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. Migrating the Hasselblad camera for mobile devices from OnePlus 9 allows the rear camera to capture photos in 10-bit color for higher image fidelity compared to the 8-bit standard.
One Plus
To keep the device cool, OnePlus has also added a 3D passive cooling system. It consists of a vapor chamber, graphene film, and copper carbon on the main circuit board.
The 10 Pro is available for pre-order in Volcano Black or Emerald Forest for $899 and ships April 14th.
