How to make a paper circle hen and chicks – Easter card ideas
What you need:
- Map based (I think green is effective)
- yellow construction paper for chicks
- white craft paper for hens
- red paper
- orange paper
- black marker
- glue
- scissors
- Optional: Jumbo and Medium Round Punch
step-by-step instructions
Start by punching or cutting two circles. Little yellow and big white.
We start with the yellow circle ( chick). Score the circle and cut a slit in the center of the circle.
Fold down a quarter of the circle (next to the slit) (see image below).
Do the same with the white circle.
Fold the other side down to have the chick and chicken facing each other.
Glue chick circles and chicken circles on a cardboard background.
Cut two small triangles from orange paper and attach them to the chicks and chickens as shown in the image below.
Also cut the crown out of red paper and attach it to the hen’s head.
Draw eyes on the chicks and hens with a black marker (you can also use the little googly eyes).
Also draw a pair of legs on the chick and chicken.
Perfect! Made hens and chicks crafts out of paper circles.
