These easy Easter craft ideas for kids are great projects for kids to hone their fine motor skills.
It’s really easy, but it takes patience and basic folding skills (and some precision). There are many different characters you can create during your Easter crafting sessions (I will show you how to create a few more). There are characters such as rabbits, sheep, and adult chickens, and you can also try Easter eggs.
How to make rosette paper chicks
What you need:
- a sheet of yellow paper
- orange paper
- blank
- black marker
- glue
- scissors
- line
step-by-step instructions
Fold the yellow paper in half.
Cut along the crease to get two identical rectangles.
Start with a sheet of paper. Fold in half.
Bring the edges to the center – (fold).
Do the same for others.
Repeat – Brings the edges to the center.
And even.
Repeat for the other side.
Spread. Created a nice, evenly spaced fold line.
Origami Fold – Valley Fold/Mountain Fold (accordion fold).
Repeat with another paper.
Apply glue to the last fold of one of the papers and glue the two papers together.
Fold (grasp) and tie a thread in the middle.
Apply glue…
and stick together
You will see a paper circle/rosette.
Cut out the beak and paws from the orange paper and the two eyes (draw the details with a black marker).
Glue to yellow paper rosettes.
