Based on the novel of the same name by Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty arrives on Prime Video on June 17. Some of Jenny Han’s other work was previously adapted into the Netflix movie To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and the following two sequels. In The Summer I Turned Pretty, Lola Tung and Rachel Blanchard star as Belly (Tung) reunites with old friends while on summer vacation and ends up at the center of a love triangle with her friend’s brothers.

Now the only question is whether she can change what happened, or whether his death was part of the universe’s larger plan.
