What you need to configure Silent Spring Book
- our serene spring book
- Laminators and laminating pouches (you can also use protective foil for inserts)
- Printer and paper (thicker print paper recommended)
- scissors
- velcro point
- glue
Print the page you want to use. Laminate and Magic Velcro (easy assembly instructions printed on most sheets). Laminating this sheet will make the activity last longer and is especially convenient in the classroom.

Match snail shape
Start learning. Snails need a home! But they are picky because each wants a house of a certain shape. This fun educational activity will help children fit a shape (house) to the shape outline of a snail.
count the leaves
Have the children count the leaves on each stem and match them with the flowers.
Busy bee and match start sound
Apples start with the letter and sound A! Match all the pictures to the letters on the hive. Have the children say each word aloud before looking for the first letter.
Butterfly color matching
Know Your Color There are two versions of this color learning activity. One is for kids to match colors to words (see below), and the other is for the butterfly at the bottom to be filled with color (suitable for pre-readers). You can also read words to your children.
A caterpillar with a sense of numbers
There are several ways to display or write a particular number. These caterpillars will help children develop their sense of numbers. Have the children explore the counting signs, the ten frames, the numbers on the dice, and the numbers written in words.
