Here’s another fun project! These simple 3D paper boats are fun and quirky creatives that you can proudly display on your wall!
This is a great classroom project as preschoolers and preschoolers can easily build their own boats.

Paddle gently along the creek in your boat… We have another paper craft idea we’d like to share with you and we’ve tweaked it a bit in 3D to suit our needs.
This boat craft is perfect for the classroom, as each student can build their own boat, decorate it to their liking, and then assemble it to create a stunning display on the wall. Imagine a fleet of these ships!

How to make a simple paper boat
Things you need
- a sheet of white construction paper
- brown construction paper sheet
- a sheet of blue construction paper
- red construction paper
- beige construction paper
Of course we used these colors and you can choose any color combination you like.
You will also need;
- glue
- scissors

Follow this step-by-step tutorial on easy paper boat crafts.
Let’s make blue paper waves. It looks much better with paper in two shades of blue.
Glue the waves to the bottom of the white paper.
Cut a semicircle out of brown construction paper.
Glue to the waves.
Cut a thin but long piece of brown paper. Glue it to the card.
Make a small flag out of red paper and stick it to the top of the strip.
Now comes the 3D part. Cut the sails.
Fold up and down.
Apply glue to the folded tab and press the boat down.

How to Make a Simple Paper Boat Craft
What you need

Follow These Step by Step Simple Paper Boat Craft Instructions
Let’s make some waves out of blue paper. If you have two shades of blue paper this will look even better.
Glue the waves at the bottom of your white sheet of paper.
Cut a half circle out of brown construction paper.
Glue it on the waves.
Cut a thin but long strip out of brown paper. Stick it on your card.
Let’s make a small flag out of red paper and glue it on the top of the strip.
Now comes the 3D part. Cut the sail.
Fold it at the top and bottom.
Apply glue on the folded flaps and press down on the boat.
You just made a super duper simple paper boat craft!
