We’ve already shared with you some cool 3D snowman pop-up cards, but these can be a little tricky to make for the little ones. On the other hand, this card couldn’t be simpler.
It’s easy to make for toddlers and can be fun for older kids and kids alike. A win for all ages.
When making handmade Christmas cards, I like to make as many different cards as possible and it’s more fun to do so.
This snowman Christmas card is perfect for running out of all your scrap paper (especially the nicely patterned scrap paper you’re saving). Or even ribbons to make it look more festive.
Let’s make this Christmas card.
How to make a snowman Christmas card?
Things you need
- Thick letter or A4 size printing paper or construction paper (store-bought blank card stands will of course work well)
- Waste paper, as many colors as possible (or ribbons)
- Orange paper or orange marker
- black marker
- scissors
- glue
Always welcome for sparkling festive accents.

Or just follow this step-by-step guide.
How to make a basemap from plain paper? For small children, we recommend folding an A4 or Letter size paper in half.
For small cards, fold the paper in half and cut it in half. Fold in half and fold well.
Cut out pieces of colored paper.
Glue it somewhere in the middle of the card.
Cut off excess.
Glue another piece of paper to the first one to get the “true” scarf look.
Cut off excess paper.
Draw the eyes, mouth and buttons with black felt-tip pens.
You can also glue them with glue dots using real buttons.
Cut a carrot shape out of orange paper and stick it on a card or draw with an orange marker.
A very simple snowman Christmas card is ready.
