Swirling Paper Plate Christmas Tree
You can have a paper plate Christmas tree that spins, so why have a regular Christmas tree!
This project is very fun and you can use our art pieces to decorate or make small ornaments yourself.

These Christmas themed paper plate crafts are perfect for classroom crafts as they make for the most wonderful and enjoyable presentations. Who needs a regular tree when you can twist and turn it a lot.
We made printable templates with little ornaments that kids can color and decorate and attach to small paper plate trees or create their own ornaments.
Great for fine motor movement and scissoring (with adult help in preschools and preschools).

How to make a swirling paper plate Christmas tree?
Things you need:
- Template (completely optional, you can find it at the end of this tutorial)
- paper plate
- green
- coloring supplies
- scissors
- glue
Jewelry, glitter glue and other fancy decorations are welcome.
similarly:
- puncher
- hanging thread
Follow our step-by-step guide
Paint the paper plate green (on both sides if possible).Cut in a spiral.
slowly and steadily.
Using a hole punch, punch a hole in the center of the swirl (above the paper plate Christmas tree).
After you have printed the template for your ornaments, you can color/decorate it however you like.
If not, make your own ornaments.
Cut them.
The paper plate Christmas tree looks prettier when it spins in the air, so color the back side as well.
Fold the “paper cord” in half…
Apply glue to the top part.
And stick it on a paper plate.
Add more ornaments until you like the shape of your Christmas tree.
