The Sims: Top 10 Most Evil Things Redditors Have Done

Some individuals walk into other people’s houses and behave as if they were on their own property. They enter rooms without permission, touch everything and stick their noses everywhere. Most of the time, in the real world, hosts cannot do much but stare at these rude behaviors, but luckily in The Sims, players can do something about it.

That was the case with Redditor dorothy_zbornakk who shared “I locked a party guest in my bedroom and watched her die as I ate a grilled cheese over her exhausted, pee-stained body. in my defense, it’s rude to go into the host’s bedroom to use the computer.”

9 Took Care Of Child Protective Services

To have children is one of the most important and life-changing decisions of humans or sims. In the game, players usually love their kids as much as any parent and become engaged in their proper raising. Sometimes that fails though, and when children are neglected Child Protective Services comes to take the kids away.

That happened to user cstar4004, but he wasn’t having any of it. He recounted “Child Protective Services came to take the kids away, so I sent everyone upstairs and deleted the staircase. The Child Protection Agent just stood there. “move_objects On”, and she was in the pool without a ladder.”

8 Haunted Orphanage

Redditor SaintBrutus commented “You people are sick! Oh wait- there was that one time in Sims 2 when I… well, I really wanted to play a mean old lady in a haunted orphanage, and well… there’s only one way do that… it’s just a video game! STOP JUDGING ME!”

>

Almost all players are guilty of killing one sim or two, but to commit multiple murders for the sake of a storyline is quite devilish. In truth though, there are plenty of players who do the same to have a big and spooky-looking cemetery in their backyard.

7 Kidnapping For Plasma

As most players know, The Sims have expansions where vampires, werewolves, witches, and other supernatural creatures exist among the regular people. When it comes to the blood-sucking monsters who have the best way of cheating death in the game, players must choose wisely as they can be predators or prey.

On the matter, Redditor long_term_catbus shared “My Sims are vampires. They briefly had a couple locked in the basement for plasma drinking. They also did all the laundry and did some paintings. I set them free because my sims had a kid and it just felt weird lol”.

6 Extreme Gold Digging

Some players work hard and achieve the top level of their careers, others play instruments for tips, but softpeachie rather do the “Sugar Daddy challenge. Make a cute sim. Make them (in my case her) seduce elders. Move in w/ them. Murder them. Rinse and repeat.”

This may be the fastest way to get rich in the game and buy expensive cars and houses, but it is definitely unnecessary to kill elder sims, taking into account that they are in their final phase and are going to be handled soon by the Grim Reaper anyway. If players decide to be golddiggers, the nice thing to do is to be patient about it.

5 Flirting Revenge

Redditor’s tankgirl85 recalled “Married a sim, he invites me on a date, I get to the location and there he is flirting with a ghost named mimsy.” It’s hard enough to be cheated on with another woman who is alive, but for a partner to sacrifice a loving relationship for somebody who is dead must really hurt.

The Redditor took the matter into her hands brilliantly though, and made a shack “with just enough to survive but not enough to make anyone feel happy” and with “a fence so my sim can see in/interact a bit lock him in there, get a string of boyfriends to go into the shack every once in a while to make out in front of him and make fun of him.” She then added hilariously at the end “Hope mimsy was worth it”, and definitely proved revenge is sweet.

4 More Gold Digging

Yet another player looking for easy money shared their evil story on Reddit. User Bufudyne43 commented “I made a girl divorce from her husband so I could take her mansion then broke up with her so I could have it to myself. Not evil just being a golddigger.

Manipulating a sim and playing with their feelings to get their mansion is considered evil by most players though. Love is about building trust and affection, it is not about money. Although there are worst things the Redditor could have done to get the mansion, it’s still quite immoral. The best cheat codes in The Sims can resolve any of these mansion needs and there’s no need to hurt others.

3 Burn Them All

There is nothing worse than doing evil in The Sims without meaning it and taking the lives of your beloved sims by accident, as it happened to a deleted user who explained, “When I was a kid I was curious if you could actually light a Sims’ room on fire, or if it was just a rumor, so I did that. I felt really bad.”

Hours of gameplay and multiple generations can end in the blink of an eye by the provoked and uncontrollable housefires that start in the kitchen, and most players have suffered from this cliche in every The Sims title. At least this deleted user felt remorseful for his malicious doings and added “the screams really haunted kid me lol.”

2 Mess With The TV

Redditor thrashleymetal proved himself to be one of the most wicked players out there and confessed “Sometimes, when my sims are watching tv, I switch off the tv to watch them all throw a fit!” to which user pmunkyandpals commented “You monster…”

Televisions getting turned off because of a prankster is one of the most annoying and infuriating things in real life, so to take advantage of being a god in a virtual world, such as The Sims, to perform an act of that evil magnitude is as terrible as it is hilarious. At least there are better things for sims to do in the game than sit around all day watching TV.

1 Have An Affair

Redditor mm1688 gave a previous warning “you will all probably laugh at how pathetic mine is” and recounted “After a committed relationship of 52 days, my two sims were very happy. They had a great house, twin sons, two cats, and were top of their careers. So I decided to shake things up by making the wife have an affair.”

Affairs are upsetting and people involved in them can become severely affected, and sims are not different, as they may feel heartbroken. That’s why it is a good thing that the Redditor explained “As soon as she was done woohooing with the “other man” I felt SO SO BAD that I used the relationship transmogrifier to fix everything”
