The Umbrella Academy season 2 ending also introduced “Sparrow Academy”, a new superhero group founded by Reginald who survived an alternate universe inhabited by our heroes today. Justin H. Min will play an alternate universe version of his character Ben and a new face.

Justin Cornwell plays Marcus, the leader of the Sparrows holding the family in check, and Britne Oldford plays Fei, the loneliest villain usually the smartest in the room. Jake Epstein is Alfonso with a bubbly sense of humor, and Genesis Rodriguez is the romantic dreamer Sloane. Cazzie David plays the loner Jamie, who doesn’t talk much and her only friend is Alphonso.

According to Netflix, Christopher, the seventh sparrow, will be playing in Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube. Loyal and trustworthy, Christopher can chill a room and cause deadly horrors, and most importantly, a large telekinesis cube. This may raise more questions than answers, but at least we now know why there were giant cubes at the end of season 2.

The sparrow’s character poster has also been released, which you can check out below.

We recently had a good look at Sparrow Academy thanks to a tweet from Justin H. Min. Shows the cast of a track jacket with a matching logo. The tweet features a new emoji with a caption that reads “Start the game” and an umbrella mocking the rivalry between Hargreeves and Sparrows seen in season 3. see above.

For the rest of the season, Netflix has released all the episode titles.

  • “Meet the family”
  • “The largest ball of yarn in the world”
  • “Lightning Bag”
  • ball lightning
  • “The friendliest cut”
  • “marigold”
  • “hi”
  • “The wedding at the end of the world”
  • “Six Species”
  • “oblivion”

Interestingly, the marigolds are what gave Hargreeves strength, and we’ve seen it before in the series (when Ben died). “Oblivion” can also have a deeper meaning. Hotel Oblivion is a prison built by Reginald and eventually someone named Perseus X escapes all the criminals trapped inside. This could be a big problem for season 4. (H/T Digital Spy)

Digital Spy also reported on set photos of Sparrow Academy members standing on Luther lying on the ground next to a fallen street lamp.

Hopper, who plays Luther, also told Pure Wow that season 3 will be bigger than its predecessor. “This season has been really uphill. Anyone who’s seen the end of season 2 can guess what’s going on. It’s a very interesting dynamic that happens in season 3.”

Showrunner Steve Blackman made a similar comment at the Netflix event GEEKED Week. “What we love is that we’re having a season that’s wilder, bigger, and crazier than ever. I think we’re creating an emotional story between this dysfunctional family.” “There are so many great surprises for the family this year, there are amazing changes that people will rejoice in, and this family will grow a lot this year in ways people don’t expect the Lord. Also promises “more Easter eggs this year than ever before.” Don’t take your eyes off it.

Regarding what we can expect at the end of season 3, Netflix’s video seems to hint at a mysterious ending. One Emmy Raver-Lampman doesn’t even know. Whatever it is, it is the first time. The kind of thing you’re there and you’re shooting and you don’t know what your end goal is, that’s great. I am here for that.” Elliot Page and Tom Hopper shared her thoughts on season 3, also in the clip you can see below.

What are The Umbrella Academy stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper and Emmy Raver-Lampman looking forward to for season 3? pic.twitter.com/Ss5uo2sidMay 13, 2021

We also talked to Tom Hopper and Robert Sheehan, who play Luther and Klaus, about what to expect next. They said what they wanted to see while being shy about the details. One wants to make a feature-length episode, but They’re not keen on imitating superhero movies. It dominates the box office. Sheehan told GamesRadar, “I like the idea of having a variety of spreads. “I can’t help but feel like I’m a giant superhero.”

“I think the appeal of the show is that it’s not just about superheroes, it’s very basic,” Hopper added. “We spice things up with superhero stuff, but that’s why people love it. [is] It’s because of the people behind the ‘superhero’.”

Season 2’s final episode puts the Hargreeves family back in their modern day, but the actors still want to time travel and explore a few different eras. “Since season one, you’ve always been talking about where the show is going. Actually, I want to do the 80s,” Hopper said.

Sheehan adds that she wants to bring them back to “the Middle Ages.” “If we go back to the day they were born? It was 1987. The entire 20th century was controversial. I’m always hatching fantasies.”

Showrunner Steve Blackman seems to love taking the cast’s ideas, so maybe we’ll see some of those ideas come true. “We love to hang out in this world. It’s really fun,” Hopper said. “And we all love to work together. It’s a great gift to have that kind of show we wrote about. We’re very cooperative and we have showrunners who can do that.”

With respect to a broader issue, Blackman gave GamesRadar+ some hints.. “Attempting to understand their origins is one of the topics we will cover next year,” he said. “The first season was a family get-together. Season 2 was getting to know the family. Season 3 Who are we and where do we come from? What are we, superheroes? [That] It’s a story I want to think more about in season 3,” he said.
