According to Holland, meeting North was an important moment for him. Because Holland is a huge fan of the game. Holland says he wants to capture the spirit of Nathan Drake of North without missing out on his iconic voice. Holland wanted to make his version of Nate unique while staying true to the game. And North believes he has succeeded.
“I think it’s great to cast Tom. He has that kind of charm,” North says in a behind-the-scenes clip. “He has the same passion Drake has in adventure. A good, good recipe.”
North was on set for more than his. unexplored experience though. The voice actor also made a cameo scene for the film, which director Ruben Fleischer described as “provisional”. [of] Torch,” in an interview with Polygon.
