It was revealed during the June 2 Sony State of Play that the Resident Evil 4 remake will be released on PS5 on March 24, 2022. The official Resident Evil Twitter account also confirmed that the game is coming to PC and Xbox Series X/S. Sony has confirmed that the game won’t be coming to PlayStation 4 in a post on the PlayStation Blog, but that might not be set in stone. Resident Evil Village was promoted as next-gen only, but Capcom later changed its mind and brought the game to PS4 and Xbox One. The console shortages likely won’t be completely over by next year, so PS4 and Xbox One ports could still happen for the Resident Evil 4 remake.

2023 is becoming more stacked by the day.
