Text strings have been found in the update code referring to options for licensed music and event playlists, while a countdown timer similar to those introducing previous live events has also been found in the dat. After the first Season in the current Chapter of Fortnite ended with very little fanfare, unless you count the whole Fortnite building removed situation, it feels like we’re owed a more substantial ending this time around. However, @xLOLxLOLxIRAJx has since confirmed that the time on the display was a placeholder entered by them manually, and is not an official source of information. We expect that the Fortnite live event will either be on the evening of Friday June 3 or, more likely, at some point during Saturday June 4.
These Fortnite live events are always exceedingly popular, so here are some tips to make sure you don’t miss out when the time arrives. Firstly, check in advance that you have the latest version of Fortnite downloaded and installed.
