M’gann’s most impressive feat during the battle that followed came when she pitted herself against Ursa Zod, the wife and second in command of General Zod. Ursa was easily the most dangerous member of the villainous team, possessing not only the enhanced physique that Kryptonians enjoyed under the yellow sun of Earth and her husband’s tactical mind, but she was also further enhanced by the Emerald Eye of Ekron. The sentient mystic artifact, which Lor-Zod had stolen from the vault of Metron, had chosen Ursa as its host, making Ursa Zod into the new Emerald Empress. While the Eye gave Ursa magical power on par with a Green Lantern, it was a simple matter for Miss Martian to fool both the Eye and Ursa with an illusion of her death before taking them both out of the fight with a single psychic attack.

Miss Martian also made short work of Lor-Zod, who had tried to assassinate her fiancé earlier in Young Justice season 4. The weakened Conner Kent has some difficulty in matching Lor-Zod, but M’gann easily took Lor-Zod out of the fight with a psychic blast, shouting at him telepathically to “Stop trying to kill my man!” She also found time to deliver one stinging telepathic rebuke to Ma’alefa’ak in the split second before he was sent flying into the Phantom Zone by Danny Chase’s telekinetic blast. All of this proved beyond the shout of a doubt that Miss Martian is much more powerful than she lets on.
